Phylogenetics Journal Club is back for the spring semester 2018!
To kick things off, Sam Church will be leading our discussion on the following paper: "This preprint uses three case studies to argue that we need to reconsider some fundamental assumptions in phylogenetic comparative methods, and we will try to work through each one as a group."
Uyeda, J. C., Zenil-Ferguson, R., & Pennell, M. W. (2017). Rethinking phylogenetic comparative methods. bioRxiv. doi:10.1101/222729
https://www.biorxiv.org/content/early/2017/11/21/222729.1
We will meet from noon to 1pm on Friday, February 2nd in the MCZ Oceanography Seminar room (next to MCZ 101). Snacks and coffee will be provided.
