Joel Nitta will lead a discussion on the following article by Matthew Pennell and Luke Harmon on the current state of phylogenetic comparative methods. He writes: "I've chosen a recent review by Matthew Pennell and Luke Harmon on phylogenetic comparative methods (PCMs). There are a lot of PCMs out there these days, and I found this to be a well-written, concise review that helps sort them out. I hope we can talk about the advantages/disadvantages of various PCMs and how each of us might use them for our own projects. Perhaps you might even learn about some that you didn't know already."
