This week, Tauana Cunha will bring the paper:
Wright, Lloyd and Hillis (2015) Modeling Character Change Heterogeneity in Phylogenetic Analyses of Morphology through the Use of Priors. Systematic Biology.
That is what she says:
It’s been a while we don’t discuss models for morphological evolution in phylogenetics. This paper seems to be a good step forward in making our analysis more realistic, by allowing asymmetric transitions between character states. Hope you find it interesting as well!
We will meet on the MCZ labs 4th floor seminar room this Friday, Apr 22, at 12pm. Snacks will be provided.
